Register a club

Club Directors must register with the region.  They must be registered and have a current (cleared) background screening through USA Volleyball.  In order to do this, they must complete the online registration process.  Waiver and Release of Liability, USA Volleyball Code of Conduct and Jr Club Personnel Code of Ethics must be "electronically signed".  By agreeing to the USA Volleyball Code of Conduct, you are also agreeing to the Great Plains Coaches Code of Ethics.  Background screening will also be electronically signed if needed.  Send your registration fees ($60) to the Great Plains Region office or pay by credit card ($62) during the registration process.  When the office receives membership fees, they will process that membership and activate it.  Paying by credit card will automatically activate the membership.  AT THAT TIME the background screening will START. 

Club admin access will not be granted until the club director has competed their memberhsip AND cleared their background sceening if needed.  The earlier the better.

Submit a Club Application/Profile.  This form is required every year a club is having teams.  This tells us who the main contact is for the club and will be posted on the club listings page.

Find the Club Application/Profile under the Juniors tab then select Juniors Forms. (or click link below)  This is an Excel file.  The fastest way would be to SAVE the Excel file to your computer, open it, add information, re-save then attach it to an email and send it back to registrar@gpvb.org. If you do not have Excel and would  like a .pdf version to print, contact the region office.

All players need to register online.  In order to complete the online registration, the Waiver and Release of Liability and USA Volleyball Code of Conduct must be "electronically signed".  After the online registration has been completed, send your registration fees ($60) DIRECTLY TO THE GREAT PLAINS REGION or pay by credit card ($63) during the registration process.  The Medical History Release form goes to the CLUB DIRECTOR of the club they will be playing for.

Once the Great Plains office receives registration fees, the membership will be processed and activated for the current season.  If you send a check, please include the name of the person being registered in the memo line.

An adult member is not eligible to coach until their background screening is current and they are IMPACT certified. A coach can have an active membership, but their coaching status is 'pending' until the background screening is current. Upon activation of the membership, the coaches' background screening will be 'picked up' by database screening company, which will start the screening process.  The background screening process takes 7-10 business days.  If there are no problems with the background screening, and once the background screening has been cleared, the adult member's pending coaches' status will be changed to 'eligible'.  A coach, assistant coach, or chaperone cannot be added to a roster until the coaching status is 'eligible'.

Club Directors and Administrators do not receive club access in the database until they have a current membership and their background sceening is cleared.

Rosters can only be built after members have been activated.  Club Directors and club administrators should log into THEIR personal account to build team rosters.  Coaches can only be added to rosters after the membership is activated and the coaching status is eligible.

All rosters used for tournament entries MUST be printed from the USA database.

Great Plains region uses an Online Tournament Entry System (OTES).  You must have a COMPLETED roster in the registration database before your team can be eligible to enter tournaments.  When your roster(s) has been completed, and you have the team(s) set up in the OTES, you must email the Tournament Coordinator to let them know the team(s) is ready to be approved in the OTES.
