IMPACT Webinar Information for the Great Plains Region

• A webinar is using your computer to log into and attend an on-line class that is in-session or happening live.  The instructor will be logged in to the same class as a presenter.  The instructor will be able to see a list of everyone who is logged in and receive text messages from everyone for Q&A.  As a student, you will only be able to see that the instructor is logged in and the information presented.

• Once you pre-register for the class before the deadline, you will receive a confirmation email 
  • Your confirmaion email will include: 
    • a website address that will take you to the login page for the class.
    • your login information
    • a phone number to call so you can hear the instructor. (not a toll free number)
    • or you can also use your computer speakers to listen.
    • once you are logged in, you will be placed on hold until the class starts.
  • After we have verified you as a paid member of the Great Plains Region, we will approve you into the class and send you the IMPACT manual.
    • You will then receive an approval email.

• Deadline to register.
  
  • 2-3 days before the class starts, so we can mail you an IMPACT manual.
  • or if can come by the office and pick up a manul. Then you can register up to 2 hours before the class starts.

• You will use your computer to view the IMPACT class or (IMPACT slide show)

• During the class, you will receive pop quiz questions that will pop-up on your computer screen.  You must answer these questions at the end of each chapter.

• The class will take about 3 hours to complete.
  • Please log in early so we can start the class on time and finish on time.
    

• The Region office will use you webinar attendance information, pop quiz answers, and how attentative you were during the session to determine if you will recieve your IMPACT certification.  All of these things will be monitored by the GoToWebinar software.
