IMPACT Webinar Information for the Great Plains Region
A webinar is an on-line class that is in-session or happening live. The instructor will be able to see a list of everyone who is logged in and receive text messages from everyone for Q&A using the question and answer box. You will see the slide show on your computer and a text box at the top of your screen. You will use this text box to send questions and answers to the instructors.
When you pre-register for the class, we will verify you as a paid member of the Great Plains Region. Once we approve you for the class, you will receive an email with a website address that will take you to the login page for the class. Also it will include your login information and phone number to call so you can hear the instructor (not a toll free number) or you can use your computer speakers to listen. Once you are logged in, you will be placed on hold until the class starts. There is no need to speak in the class, so you don’t need a microphone. We will also mail you an IMPACT book that is required for the class.
The deadline to register is 3 days before the class starts, so we can mail you an IMPACT manual or if can come by the office and pick up a manual, you can register up to 4 hours before the class starts.
During the class, you will receive questions at the end of each chapter that will pop-up on your computer screen. You must answer these questions to receive participation points. The instructor will also verbally ask you questions during the class. You must answer by sending a message on your computer (you should see a text box at the top right of your screen during the class).
The class will take about 4.5 hours to complete. Please log in early so we can start the class on time and finish on time.
The Region office will use the class report from GoToWebinar which tracks your attendance information, quiz answers and questions by the instructor to determine if you if passed the IMPACT class.
This is what you will see on your computer screen, once you are logged into the class.
