Queen of the Beach Tournaments:  $10 a person / 5:00pm - 9:15pm

  • Players sign up as individual players.
  • Players must pre-register.
  • Girls only.
  • Players will be in pools of 4 or 6.
  • We must have an even number of players divisible by 4 or 6.
  • Players will be seeded in their pools by their overall ranking for the season (see Girls Point Leaders on the main Outdoor page)
  • Players will be matched with every player in their pool, and they will play against every player in their pool.
  • All players will advance to a  tournament.
  • Players will advance to a tournament division (Gold, Silver, etc) by their win/loss record, head-to-head, then points.
  • For example:  if we had 6 players in a pool, each player would play 5 games.

  • Tournament playoffs:
  • The top players from each pool advance to a Gold tournament.
  • The next 2 players from each pool advance to a Silver tournament.
  • They will be matched up based on their pool finishes.
  • They will keep the same partner throughout the tournament playoffs.
  • We will end up with 2 players winning the Queen of the Beach and 2 players finishing 2nd.
  • Points will be awarded for this tournament to help determine the 2009 Summer Beach Champion.
    • players will be given the same points as a regular tournament.  For example if there are 32 players (16 teams), the winners will each get 16 pts, 2nd place will each get 14 pts, 3rd will get 11 pts, etc...
  • Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.  We will play out to 3rd place in the Gold division.
  • Medals will then be given to the 2009 Summer Beach Champion(s) for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
